No, it's not a dream, the 2009-10 academic year is really the Environmental Studies Program's 40th as an academic program at UC Santa Barbara!

In recognition of this milestone the Environmental Studies Program faculty & staff, along with our alumni, the UCSB Alumni Association, and the local community are hosting a year-long celebration. A number of campus-wide events, special environmental lectures, and an ES Alumni Reunion are in the works. These events are still in the planning stages, but any new/additional information will be posted on this site as soon as it becomes available. We also plan to launch an Alumni Survey (conducted once every five years) in the fall which will be linked to this site.

So please check back frequently and be sure to update your contact info and join the ES Program's Facebook Group to stay in touch. See below for additional information.
