Dr. Matthea Cremers interests focus on gender and the environment. She is a
lecturer for the Environmental Studies Program and the Department of Anthropology.
Along with her cross-listed ES/Anthropology courses, Dr. Cremers teaches Anthropology
2, Introduction to Cultural Anthropology. She also works as a Resource Development
and Internship Coordinator for the South Coast Railroad Museum at the Goleta
Depot in Goleta, California. As a community activist, she is involved in the
protection of the Coronado Butterfly Preserve as well as the Ellwood Mesa.
