Call for 2012-13 ES Program Teaching Assistant Applications
The Environmental Studies Program's 2012-13 Teaching Assistant (TA) Application is still available online, however, for primary consideration applications were due May 25, 2012.
Each year the Environmental Studies Program hires a number of graduate students from across campus to serve as TAs for a number of our lower and upper-division courses. To view a list of ES courses which might still require TAs and to download the 2012-13 application please visit our website at: <http://www.es.ucsb.edu/academics/teaching-assistants#applications>
You must be a registered graduate student in the quarter for which you are applying to TA. Combined UCSB employment must not exceed 50%. If you accept a TA position with Environmental Studies you are committing yourself to fulfill the duties of the position until final grades are assigned.
PLEASE NOTE: By submitting an application for consideration of teaching assistant position, this is not a guarantee of employment or that you will receive regular updates from the department. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the instructors to express interest in a TAship and to follow up with those instructors if you have not received a response.
