2) Of the 4,154
ES Program Alumni, 1,293 graduated with an official
double major, or 31.1% of all ES alumni. This is more than double
the UCSB average. Note:
the 1,293 figure does
not include approximately 30 additional ES alumni with double
majors due to unverifiable statistics between 1972-1974.

4) A large number of UCSB ES Alumni
have pursued the amazing challenges and opportunities associated with becoming
a volunteer with the United States Peace
Corps. By 2004, 105 ES alumni had served in the Peace Corps,
helping establishing UCSB as one of the top schools nationwide that provids
environmental volunteers to the Peace corps.

5) Since accepting its first students
in the fall of 1996, UCSB's Donald Bren
Graduate School of Environmental Science and Management has been a popular
destination for ES alumni. By 2005, 23
ES Program alumni have pursued either a master's
degree of Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from the Bren
school.

6) Obtaining a teaching credential
or graduate degree in education has also been a popular path for ES Program
Alumni. By 2005, a total of 15 alumni obtained either
