The Olive Tree Project - updated 5/6/02

This research will describe and investigate the social and biological aspects of historic Santa Barbara County olive tree diversity in time and space, as well as contribute to methodological development for spatial description and analysis of these and other living cultural and agricultural resources.

Environmental Indicators Project Website (ES 116 and 135B) - updated 2003

This website was originally created in the spring of 2000 by a group of UCSB students as a class project for an advanced environmental planning class. These indicators represent the work of the current ES 135B class as well as previous classes. The indicators will generally represent information from Santa Barbara, the South Coast and beyond. Eventually the indicators on this site will cover a broad geographic base from California to the whole United States
